76ers top Pacers for 5th straight win

Harden, Embiid lead the way in 133-120 victory

PHILADELPHIA -- Joel Embiid had 26 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists for his first triple-double of the season, and James Harden added 25 points as the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Indiana Pacers 133-120 on Sunday night for their fifth straight win.

Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 29 points, while Buddy Hield added 22 and Jalen Smith scored 21.

The 76ers (10-7) led by as many as 23 points in the third quarter, but the Pacers (6-11) cut the lead to 108-102 with 6:30 remaining. Embiid then hit a jumper and assisted on a three-pointer by Harden to push the lead back to 14.

Embiid finished 10 of 20 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free throw line. Harden was 9 of 18 from the field and 6 of 10 from three-point range.

The Pacers were without Myles Turner (ankle) and Chris Duarte (ankle), while the 76ers were without Tobias Harris (hip).

The 76ers will host the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night, while the Pacers will visit the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night.
